GitHub Copilot Student
Free Copilot Student plan for verified students on GitHub Education: an allowance of GitHub AI Credits, auto model selection only, no third-party agents. Copilot CLI and the Copilot app are included on all plans.
How to get it: Get verified through GitHub Education (part of the GitHub Student Developer Pack), then activate Copilot Student at github.com/settings/education/benefits. GitHub re-checks eligibility monthly, and activation can take several days after approval.

Eligible US college students get 12 months of Google AI Pro free (valued at $19.99/mo). Students in 140+ other markets get 12 months of Google AI Plus free instead. Google AI Pro is also the paid plan that raises Antigravity's agent quota.
How to get it: Verify student status (SheerID); a valid payment method is required. Unless cancelled, Pro renews at $19.99/mo (Plus at $4.99/mo or local equivalent) after the free year. Not available on school-issued accounts.

Free individual educational licenses for JetBrains IDEs. An active educational license includes JetBrains AI Free: unlimited code completion, unlimited local models and a limited cloud quota. AI Pro is not included in complimentary student, teacher or classroom All Products Pack licenses.
How to get it: Apply as a student enrolled in an accredited program of one or more years of full-time study. New JetBrains AI users also get a 30-day AI Pro trial, then fall back to AI Free.

Cursor: student discount closed
Cursor's legacy student discount no longer takes new sign-ups. Existing redemptions keep their rate until the plan expires. Undergraduates can get credits and discounts at on-campus and online events this fall; master's and PhD students, researchers and educators can request credits through a form.
